The inaugural Sunshine Classic Kickball Tournament was held Saturday, February 23 at 17th Street Park in Sarasota. Six teams participated in the event, with games kicking off at 10:00 a.m. Four teams survived pool play and advanced to the playoffs: Tap Out, Freeballin' Redrockets, Suck My Kick, and Huge In Japan. Suck My Kick and Huge In Japan pulled off semi-final wins and faced off in an extra inning affair in the championship game. Suck My Kick, the top seed, earned a 2-1 win in walk-off fashion.
Congratulations to the first Sunshine Classic champs, Suck My Kick, and all teams involved for participating!
